“I want to add a personal note about my practice. If you review this website, you will find it looks just like any other website for a lawyer. They all say the same things and we all boast about the same accomplishments.
And frankly, they are all true, including mine.
The difference between me and other lawyers is that my life has taken turns that gave me personal experiences with both of my primary areas of practice—divorce and family law generally, and criminal defense.
I understand what you are dealing with on a more personal level than most because I have been there. I know what it means to you and your children to go through this process because I have done it more than once. I have children, stepchildren, grandchildren, and step-grandchildren. I love them all.
I also know what it is like to go through a criminal case. I understand addiction and rehabilitation because I have been there, done that, and bought the t-shirt, as the saying goes. I am not proud of it, but I will be willing to share my personal experiences with anyone who cares to ask. It is my way of dealing with it—I have never been one to hide from the truth.
So, if you want a lawyer who will tell you the truth, even when you don’t want to hear it, give me a call. My first obligation is, to be honest with my clients, and I take that seriously. You’ll get the good, the bad, and the ugly. I have been doing this for 41 years, and I am damned good at it. I just do it with gray hair, now.”
